This work received a prestigious 3D Award.

The project of a new media center in St. Petersburg, Russia was developed by AI Studio which is located in London and Moscow. The center includes an office space for media and other creative agencies as well as a public space.

According to Archdaily, the 135 thousand square meter media center will occupy a partially abandoned industrial site on Vasilievsky Island in the Neva River delta. The new building will have seven floors. There will be a kinetic media-wall made of light metal plates which are activated by the wind installed on the facade of the building. The wall will be synchronised with an LED screen to create visual effects.

There will be a helipad on the roof as well as a viewing point with a view over the Peter and Paul Fortress.
